We’ve been going to Matjoa for the last few years and we’re so happy that they relocated closer to us in Westchase! We got the tofu stew and it was very delicious. The AYCE Kbbq is also great here. Can’t wait to come back again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Whether you’re flying into Tampa to golf at Old Memorial Golf Club or just visiting the Bay Area, this spot is an absolute must for authentic Korean BBQ and bar vibes. Every dish is a hit — from the short rib and shrimp to the bibimbap and dumplings — everything is packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. (Ask for their cowboy butter when grilling shrimp — you’ll thank me later!) I highly recommend the All You Can Eat – Option B for the full experience. The service is top-notch — Alvaro takes great care of guests, and owners Joe and his wife are truly some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Fantastic food, amazing atmosphere, and genuinely kind people — can’t wait to come back!

Awesome Korean!!! Authentic Korean food, high quality, and plentiful. Yookgaejang (Beef Soup) is absolutely delicious! Filled with shredded beef, veggies, potato noodles and egg. Comes with plentiful Kimche at only $19! Bulgogi is also delicious. High quality beef, nicely flavored and plentiful. At $15.50 with Kimche it's an awesome deal. Kimche is extraordinary! Potato, fish cake and vegetables are fresh and delicious. Best Korean in the Tampa Bay area. Drove 45 minutes to get here, and it was worth the trip. Staff is friendly, warm, and welcoming. Restaurant is very clean, and nicely arranged. Always busy, but quick service.

Decided to try out the new Korean BBQ place. It was EXCELLENT! Service was great, everyone was super friendly and helpful. The variety of meats and vegetable dishes was absolutely delicious! Tried Combo A which included brisket, pork belly, shrimp, teriyaki chicken and beef bulgogi ( melted in mouth it was so tender). The picked onions, marinated bean sprouts, seafood side dish, steamed egg, seaweed, kimchi, were all so tasty. Loved the radish wraps, lettuce and rice also, so you had options for every bite. The sauces were also very good, my favorite was the sesame oil with salt and pepper. Definitely coming back soon!

I really wanted to love this spot as the reviews were so high. There was nothing about my experience that was bad, but it definitely didn’t live up to the hype for me personally. The banchan were all very tasty and very authentic to taste. The radish tased a little out of season, but can easily look past this. Ordered the steamed egg, buddaejjiggae and bibim nyeongman. I thought the steamed egg tasted fantastic. The noodles were fine in my opinion, although my mother didn’t love them. The buddaejjigae I’ve been eyeing for a while considering it’s typically a dish served for two or more and individual servings are hard to find at Korean spots in the US. But the dish was too sweet… the addition of carrots and red bell pepper definitely overpowered a dish that’s typically spicy and savory with an unwanted sweetness. For the price point I was hoping for some more spam, and the fact it was cut in to strips that were nearly razor thin was disappointing. Overall it was a fine meal and I would definitely go back and eat here again. But I would try some different dishes. It’s in a great location with plenty of parking and the ambiance is nice. They just relocated from Clearwater to their new home and I wish them all the best success.

The absolute best Korean restaurant in Florida. I’m extremely picky when it comes to Korean food cause nothing is better than mama’s cooking but this place makes me feel like I’m back home. Truly authentic food and you can tell there’s not a single corner being cut in the quality of the ingredients. It’s so refreshing to finally have a place in Tampa where the owners treat you like family and cook up some good food. I recommend going daily in order to try every single thing on the menu.

One of the most authentic Korean food around this whole Tampa area. Hot, fresh ingredients. We got a variety of plates and they were all flavorful and rich.
